Carbonated Coffee

We live in the country and have well water.It's taste is great,but you can't make coffee or tea with it.If you use it then the coffee or tea looks like sludge.We have to buy bottled water just for those two things.
I ran out of bottled water but had some in the Frig.or so I thought.I poured the water into the coffee maker from the pitcher and made the coffee.When it was finished I pour my company a cup.They drank a couple of sips and asked me what I made my coffe out of.I had no idea what they were talking about.I took a sip of mine and was really surprised .It tasted horrible.I asked my grandaughter what was in my pitcher of water and she said she had poured it out and put a two liter of 7 UP in the pitcher. I was so embarrassed Everyone was laughing so hard that they forgave me for the awful coffee.
